Our story is told through the perspective of two unlikely partners separated by a generation. Early in their relationship, Chase and Michael were competing head-to-head in the real estate marketplace, both with some wins and some losses. The two realized rather quickly that they worked in similar ways with similar strategies and each party had their own unique strengths and talents that were complementary when combined. They quickly began to collaborate with positive results.
Over time, Michael and Chase became close friends and confidants, participating in investments together and joining forces to leverage their unique strengths and talents, only to witness results compound. Their respective practices and efforts were merged into one and a partnership was born. Thus, what began as a multi-year business relationship ultimately transformed into the practice now known as GenerativArts.
GenerativArts combines the creative drive of its founders and all its human resources, customers/clients/colleagues alike, to provide a holistic, all-hands approach to create win-win outcomes for all parties, day-in-day-out.
The Team
Chase Wood
Chase’s real estate career began working with a prominent broker and developer in his hometown. Prior to co-founding GenerativArts, Chase was a principal of a real estate development and consulting company, where he employed his strengths and talents to build a brokerage and advisory practice, in addition to sourcing and putting together investments and development projects. Chase is an avid learner and is naturally curious about the world. He enjoys reading, travelling, practicing yoga, outdoor activities, and culinary experiences. Chase lives in Boston with his wife, Yuzina.

Michael Haeder
Michael Haeder worked his way up from the trenches in a family-owned valuation firm only to discover that his 'highest and best use' was ultimately creative problem solving and the cultivation of trust-based relationships. With years of hard work and persistence, Michael created a thriving practice which ultimately merged into the formation of GenerativArts. Michael is an amateur artist, musician, and enjoys all outdoor activities, downhill skiing and mountain biking in particular. Michael makes his home on the edge of the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
